Bowling Green, Kentucky Pumpkin Pie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
    4 eggs
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix (dry)
    1 c. melted oleo
Preparation
    Mix together the first 7 ingredients.
    Pour into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over pumpkin batter. Melt oleo; drizzle over dry cake mix.
    One cup walnuts may be added.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour (no longer).
    Serve warm or cold with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
