Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Add flour alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
    Mix vanilla, salt and baking powder in small bowl. Stir into batter.
    Pour into greased tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
    Cool in pan for several minutes.
    Invert onto serving plate.
