Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 c. berries
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in pan.
    Stir in berries and lemon juice.
    Boil until thick, stirring constantly.
    Mix flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add shortening and milk. Mix well.
    Put berry mixture in dish and put dough on top of berries.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
