Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, separated
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Grease and flour 4 layer pans.
    Cream well the butter, Crisco and sugar. Add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Add flour sifted with soda, alternating with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla, coconut and nuts. Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.
    Pour in cake pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
