Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 whole eggs
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 gal. (8 c.) milk
    2 c. half and half cream
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt and flour.
    To separate starch granules, beat eggs thoroughly until frothy and lemon color.
    Mix eggs with dry ingredients and beat well.
    Add milk and cook at medium to low temperature until mixture coats a metal spoon.
    When cool, add half and half and vanilla.
    Freeze in crank or electric freezer.
