Diced Apple Dessert Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. diced apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs, well beaten
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nutmeats (optional)

Preparation

Mix apples and sugar in a bowl and set aside.
Sift dry ingredients and mix with apples.
Add eggs, oil, vanilla and nuts if desired.
Pour batter into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until cake tests done.
