Caramel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
2 heaping Tbsp. flour
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 egg whites
1 Tbsp. cold water
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 baked crust
Preparation

Caramelize sugar until brown; dissolve with boiling water. Add milk and let boil.
Combine brown sugar, flour and beaten egg yolk.
Thin with milk or water and add to boiling mixture.
Cook until thick, add a small lump of butter and flavoring.
Pour into baked shell.
Beat egg whites and cold water until it peaks.
Fold in sugar and pour on pie filling.
Brown in oven.
