Cheddar Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    2 c. potatoes
    1/4 c. carrots
    1/2 c. celery
    1/4 c. onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    4 oz. Velveeta cheese
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded or sharp
    1 c. ham, cooked or 8 strips fried bacon
Preparation
    Veggies:
    Bring to a boil 2 cups water.
    Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper.
    Cover and cook until tender.
    Don't drain!
