Edna'S Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, diced
    2 plus c. water
    1 c. sugar
    salt (about 2 tsp.)
    1 minced onion
    5 lb. salad potatoes
    3/4 to 1 c. vinegar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in jackets, peel and slice.
    Fry bacon.
    Remove bacon bits from pan.
    To bacon fat, add flour.
    Cook, but don't brown.
    Stir in vinegar, water, sugar, salt, pepper and onion. Let come to a boil.
    Pour over potatoes.
