Asparagus With Cashew Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. fresh asparagus or 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
1/2 c. butter or margarine
6 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram
1/2 c. salted cashew nuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation

Cook asparagus in salted water in large covered skillet until tender, about 18 minutes; or if using frozen asparagus, cook as directed on package.
Drain and arrange on heated platter.
While asparagus cooks, melt butter in small saucepan; add lemon juice, marjoram and cashew nuts.
Simmer over low heat for about 3 minutes.
Pour over cooked asparagus.
Yields 10 servings.
