Crab Imperial - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. crab (best you can get)
3/4 c. finely chopped onion
3/4 c. finely chopped celery
1/4 c. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. half and half
1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. ketchup
1 c. homemade bread crumbs (needs fluffiness of real bread)
1/4 c. white wine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. parsley (fresh)
white pepper, lemon juice, Tabasco and salt to taste
Preparation

Saute onion and celery together in butter very slowly until tender.
Add everything else but crab, adding crab last.
Need a big pan for this recipe.
Spray shells with Pam and fill.
Can be made ahead.
Top with butter and bread crumbs.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until bubbly and slightly brown.
Serve with scalloped potatoes and asparagus.
Serve a salad for a first course.
