Fluffy White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. milk
    2/3 c. shortening
    5 egg whites, beaten
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add milk and shortening.
    Beat on medium speed of electric mixer.
    Add egg whites and extract and beat 2 minutes more.
    Pour into 2 (8-inch) or a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes for an 8-inch pan or 35 to 40 minutes for a 9 x 13-inch pan.
