Cupcake Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. cocoa powder (unsweetened)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Put 12 paper bake cups into muffin pans. In a small bowl, use a spoon to stir the cream cheese.
    Add 1/4 cup sugar, nuts and vanilla until mixed.
    In small bowl, mix flour, cocoa and baking powder.
    In medium bowl, cream 1/2 cup sugar and butter until fluffy.
    Stir in egg and vanilla until mixed.
    Stir about half the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Slowly stir in milk until smooth.
    Stir in the rest of the flour mixture until smooth.
    Spoon 1 tablespoon batter into each bake cup.
    Add 1 teaspoon of nut mixture to each.
    Finish filling with batter.
    Bake in to each.
    Finish filling with batter.
    Bake in oven for 20 minutes.
    Add icing, if you like.
    Makes 12.
