Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. oil
4 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. coconut
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Blend together the sugar, pumpkin, oil and eggs.
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda, then add to the first ingredients.
Stir in coconut and pecans. Bake in three 9-inch pans until done in a 350\u00b0 oven.
