Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and beat well.
    Then add buttermilk and vanilla.
    Mix the flour, salt, soda and baking powder; slowly add to other mixture and stir until dough is stiff enough to roll out.
    If it is too sticky, add a little more flour. Roll to at least 1/4-inch thickness; cut with a cookie cutter or glass and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
