Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 lb. round steak
1 c. thick sour cream
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. bell pepper, diced
Preparation

Cut meat into 3/4-inch cubes or strips and dredge in flour, seasoned with salt and pepper.
Brown meat in hot shortening.
Add onion, mushrooms and garlic.
Mix the sour cream, sauces and green peppers.
Pour over meat; cover and cook on high until steaming. Reduce heat to simmer.
Serve over spaghetti, noodles or other pasta or rice.
