Frozen Pickled Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    carrots and/or peppers
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Chop
    cabbage
    and
    other vegetables very fine.
    Can be put in blender to chop.
    Add salt to mixture with enough water to cover. Let stand
    for
    1
    hour.
    Drain
    well.
    Combine and boil for 1 minute the sugar, vinegar, 1/4 cup water and celery seed.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Mix this and cabbage mixture together.
    Put in containers and freeze.
