Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    2 c. apples with peel, diced
    1 egg, whipped/whisked
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix the pineapple, peanuts and apples. Set aside.
    Bring to boil pineapple juice with the egg and add vinegar, flour and the sugar.
    Boil until thick.
    Cool slightly.
    Pour over reserved ingredients.
    Mix well, then add Cool Whip.
    Cool overnight or all day before serving.
