Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 to 1 1/2 c. lightly salted peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine in a 2-quart casserole the sugar, syrup and salt. Microwave 5 minutes on High.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Microwave 3 to 5 minutes to brown.
    Stir after 3 minutes.
    Add butter, vanilla and soda.
    Stir until light and foamy.
    Spread on well-buttered cooking sheet.
    Cool.
    Break in pieces.
