Bread Pudding And Bread Pudding Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk, sugar and butter.
    Soak bread in this mixture for 5 minutes.
    Pour slowly over eggs; add vanilla and mix well.
    Pour into buttered baking dish.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 until firm.
    Makes 4 servings.
