Downy Cushion Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 pkg. yeast
6 c. plain flour

Preparation

Scald milk; add shortening, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm, then add 2 cups of flour, mix well and add well beaten egg.
