Texas Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. plus 1 tsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    4 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 c. plus 3 Tbsp. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, 1 at a time.
    Add vanilla. Stir in sifted flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.
    Roll between sheets of waxed paper sprayed with nonstick cooking spray and floured.
    Cut out with cookie cutter.
    Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
