Beef And Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 (15 oz.) can vegetarian baked beans
1 (10 oz.) can refrigerator biscuits
1/2 c. low-fat shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
In skillet, brown ground beef, onion and green pepper.
Drain.
Stir in beans, barbecue sauce and brown sugar.
Heat until bubbly.
Pour into a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Separate biscuits and then cut in half crosswise.
Place biscuits, cut side down, over hot meat mixture.
Sprinkle cheese over biscuits.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
