Louie'S Pasta With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 canned anchovies (flat fillets)
    1 can clams, save juice
    1/4 c. olive oil
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 or more shallots, finely chopped
    1/4 c. parsley, chopped
    1/2 tsp. rosemary, chopped
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    Wash anchovies in cold water.
    Heat oil and butter.
    Add garlic and onion.
    Cook until brown.
    Add anchovies.
    Add parsley, rosemary, clam juice, and wine.
    Bring to a boil.
    Salt and pepper.
    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add clams.
    Serve over linguine.
