Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    4 cloves minced garlic
    1/2 diced onion
    1 large can Italian puree
    1 (16 oz.) can chickpeas, drained
    1 can kidney beans
    3 to 4 c. shredded cabbage
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 c. diced celery
    1 c. macaroni, cooked
    6 sliced, browned Italian sausages
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 qt. water
Preparation
    Cover bottom of Dutch oven with oil.
    Brown garlic and onion. Add large can of strained puree.
    Add all other.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Add cooked macaroni and sausages.
