Sausage Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni
1/2 lb. sausage
1 chopped onion
1/2 chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 lb. grated cheese
Preparation

Cook macaroni to package directions.
Drain.
Fry sausage, onion and green pepper until lightly browned.
Stir in flour and salt.
Add milk, cook over low heat until thickened.
In greased casserole (1 1/2 quart) alternate layers of macaroni and cheese. Pour thickened sauce over layered macaroni and cheese.
Bake uncovered at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
