Great-Great Grandmother'S Teacakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, soft
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
self-rising flour
Preparation

Put several cups of flour in bowl.
Make a nest in the flour. Start with butter and add all other ingredients.
Knead dough, using flour from nest.
Make dough as soft as possible for rolling.
Place on well floured board and roll approximately 1/4 inch thick.
Cut teacakes and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until light brown.
Remove from pan and cool.
