Mashed Carrots And Parsnips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large carrots (1 lb.)
    4 large parsnips (1 lb.)
    4 Tbsp. butter or oleo (1/2 stick)
    brown sugar to taste
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Peel and slice carrots and
    parsnips.
    Bring
    to a boil together in about 1 inch of water.\tReduce\theat to low, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes
    or until tender.
    Drain.
    Add a little milk
    and
    the
    butter,
    return
    to\theat and mash in saucepan with potato
    masher.
    Stir in brown sugar and salt to taste.
    Makes about 4 servings.
