Basic Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 clove garlic, crushed through a garlic press
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. skim milk
Preparation
    In 1 1/2-quart microwave safe bowl, microwave butter and garlic on High 40 seconds or until butter is melted.
    Using a wire whisk, stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Microwave on High 1 minute or until mixture foams.
    Gradually add milk while stirring with a wire whisk.
    Microwave on High about 4 minutes, stirring twice, until sauce is thickened.
    Makes 1 cup.
