Yellow Squash Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh yellow squash, sliced
    1/2 c. butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm herbed stuffing mix, divided
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    5 green onions, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 carrot, grated
Preparation
    Boil squash until tender.
    Drain.
    Melt butter in skillet. Stir in 4 ounces stuffing mix.
    Add soup, sour cream, green onions, celery and carrot, stirring to mix.
    Add drained squash. Place in a 2-quart baking dish.
    Top with remaining stuffing mix. Cover and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until brown.
    Freezes well.
