Mexican Pecan Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, milk and soda to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla, butter and nuts.
    Beat until creamy and drop on wax paper over which salt has been sprinkled.
    Use a large pan because it foams quite a bit.
