Ladyfingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. water
    2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla and water.
    Add flour. Mix well and add chopped nuts.
    Form small balls 1 1/2-inches long. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until delicately browned.
    While hot, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes three dozen.
