Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cabbage, shredded
    4 potatoes, diced
    1 bunch green onions, cut up
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    5 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Bring to a boil; cook for 20 minutes.
    Add 1/4 stick oleo and 1 cup half and half.
    Do not boil.
    By the time the margarine is melted, the soup is ready.
