Easy Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. top milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring brown sugar, milk and butter to a boil and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla. Cool to lukewarm.
    Beat until creamy, adding a little cream, if necessary, to make easier to spread.
    Makes enough for top and sides of 9-inch square cake.
