Ingredients

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. oleo or butter
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream powdered sugar and oleo or butter.
Add egg, vanilla and almond flavoring.
Sift together and add flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Mix well.
Refrigerate dough for 2 to 3 hours. Roll out to 3/16-inch thick.
Flour the cookie cutters.
Cut out cookies.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes.
