Fluffy Coconut Cake With Pineapple Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water with 4 Tbsp. cornstarch added to it
Preparation
    Make sure the cornstarch is blended well in the warm water. Mix all ingredients together in a small saucepan.
    Cook until it thickens.
    Cool mixture.
    Place in refrigerator until ready to spread.
    (I usually prefer to make the filling before making the cake, then it is ready once the cake cools.)
    Spread this filling between cake layers only.
