Date Nut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 large or 2 small eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    coconut
Preparation
    Cook first 5 ingredients for 5 minutes on low heat.
    Then add vanilla.
    Add Rice Krispies and chopped nuts.
    Make mixture into 1-inch balls and roll in coconut.
    Refrigerate.
    Will keep a long time.
