Super Bowl Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 lb. lean ground pork
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans hot chili beans or red kidney beans
    1 (28 oz.) can cut up tomatoes
    2 large onions, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. red pepper, crushed
    3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
Preparation
    In a 4-quart Dutch oven, brown the beef and pork.
    Drain off excess fat.
    Add undrained chili or kidney beans and tomatoes, chopped onions, garlic, chili powder, sugar, red pepper and vinegar.
    Cover and simmer chili for 1 hour, stirring frequently to avoid scorching.
    Serve in bowls topped with shredded Cheddar cheese and sour cream (optional).
    Makes 6 to 8 main dishes.
