Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 large 7-Up (10 oz.)
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 pkg. strawberry jello
1/2 c. hot water
1 pt. strawberries
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell, cooled

Preparation

Cook sugar, 7-Up, cornstarch and jello over low heat until very thick.
Change color-clear.
Add 1 package strawberry jello and dissolve in 1/2 cup hot water.
Let cool.
Put strawberries in pie shell, pour filling over strawberries, then top with Cool Whip.
