Favorite Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 c. (or 2 3/4 c.) sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
6 large eggs
1/4 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer, about 2 minutes, or until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed 5 to 7 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating until yellow disappears.
Combine flour and soda, gradually add to creamed mixture.
Mix at lowest speed just until blended after each addition.
Stir in flavorings.
Spoon batter into a greased and floured 13-cup Bundt pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Yields one (10-inch) cake.
