Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sour cherries
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. red food coloring
    3 bananas, diced
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped
    2 pie crusts
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake pie crusts.
    Let cool.
    Mix cornstarch, sugar and juice from pineapple and cherries.
    If the juices do not make 1 cup, add water to finish.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick. Add cherries, pineapple and vanilla and mix well.
    Let cool.
    Add pecans and bananas to the mixture.
    Mix well.
    Pour in 2 baked pie crusts.
    Ice with Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate.
    Serves 12 to 16.
