Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded american or cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. (32 oz.) hash browns
    1 c. crushed cornflakes
    1 tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Grease a large casserole dish. In a large mixing bowl, combine cheese, soups, chopped onion, butter, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Stir in hash browns. Place mixture
    into a casserole dish, and stir together crushed cornflakes and 1 tbsp. butter. Sprinkle over potato mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until brown.
