Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large ripe tomatoes
    1/3 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. butter or oleo, melted
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Skin tomatoes and slice into 5 to 6 sections.
    Dredge in the flour.
    Saute in the butter or oleo.
    Do not brown.
    When thickened, stir in brown sugar and gradually add milk, stirring well.
    Cook over low heat until thickened, then stir in salt and pepper to taste; keep stirring.
    Keep warm until ready to serve over fried potatoes, mashed potatoes or biscuits.
    Yummy!
