Sliced Angel Food Cake Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour or 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. pineapple, drained
1 1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 stick margarine
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 egg yolk
1/2 c. nuts
1 small jar cherries
1/2 c. coconut
Cool Whip or whipped cream
cake, cut in 3 layers
Preparation

Blend sugar and flour.
Add pineapple juice.
Cook over low heat until thick. Add the margarine and lemon juice.
Beat egg yolk into mixture, a little at a time.
Fold in pineapple, nuts, cherries (cut up) and coconut. Spread between layers and on top of cake. Top cake with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
