German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 green pepper
    2 medium onions
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. mustard
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, onion and green pepper.
    Mix together in a large bowl.
    Bring oil, sugar, vinegar and salt to a boil.
    Remove from heat and add celery seed and mustard seed to hot mixture.
    Pour mixture over slaw and do not mix, for 4 to 6 hours.
    Place in refrigerator, after 4 to 6 hours, mix and serve.
    Will hold in refrigerator for 3 to 4 weeks.
