Chicken And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
Preparation
    Cut bacon slices in half.
    Layer bacon and rice in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Combine dry soup mix, soup and water in bowl; mix well.
    Pour half the mixture over rice.
    Arrange chicken over rice. Layer mushrooms and remaining soup mixture on top.
    Sprinkle with pimento.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is tender.
