Dutch Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. carrots, cut in diagonal pieces
1/2 onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. water
Preparation

Combine all ingredients.
Cover and cook slowly, about 1 hour or until carrots are tender.
Serves 4.
