Caramel Oatmeal Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. quick oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. caramel fudge ice cream topping
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0 and grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine oatmeal, flour, sugar, soda and salt.
    Add margarine until well blended.
    Reserve one cup; press remaining onto bottom of pan. Bake for 10 minutes; cool for 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
    Mix caramel topping with 1/4 cup flour until smooth.
    Drizzle over nuts and chocolate chips to within 1/4 inch of pan edges.
    Sprinkle with the reserved oat mixture.
    Bake an additional 18 to 22 minutes.
    Cool; chill to set and cut into bars.
