Pulgogi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. sesame oil
    2 Tbsp. water or wine
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. fresh ginger, finely chopped
    4 medium green onions, coarsely chopped
    3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    2 tsp. Accent (optional)
Preparation
    Cut the beef into thin slices about 3 inches square by 1/8-inch thick.
    This can be done at the butcher's shop.
    Marinate the beef in remaining ingredients for up to 1 1/2 hours. Traditionally, this meat is broiled at the table on a Korean pulgogi grill over charcoal, gas ring or hot plate.
    Otherwise, use a frying pan or oven-broiler.
    Pork or chicken may also be cooked this way.
