1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. cream-style corn *
1/2 c. grated mild Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt *
1 1/2 to 3 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs

*If doubling the recipe, use 1 can cream-style corn and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.
